|About the Venue and Accommodation :
The convention will be held at the Napier War Memorial and conference centre, 48 Marine Parade, Napier, New Zealand.
Located on the beach of Napier's famous Marine Parade, the Napier Conference Centre offers an all purpose built venue that uniquely combines spectacular outlooks with functional layout. Completely re-developed in 2017, the Napier Conference Centre is owned and operated by the Napier City Council and offers a completely air conditioned facility with a range of complimentary sized rooms that can be used in combination or on their own. Note that there is little or no parking at the conference center.
The official convention hotel is the Bluewater Hotel, 10 West Quay, Ahuriri, Napier (this is 3.8 km. from the War Memorial Hall - a 7 minute drive). Taxi costs would be NZ$15 to NZ$20 each way. Rates :

Napier and the surrounding Hawke's Bay region :
Napier and the surrounding Hawke's Bay region have a typical Mediterranean style climate with some of New Zealand’s highest sunshine hours. This makes the region famous for its high producing vineyards, apple and stone fruit orchards and wide range of horticultural crops.
Hawke's Bay's two main centres, Napier and Hastings make up the bulk of the province's population, and are only 20 km apart. Napier, largely a retail centre, is situated right beside the ocean and utilises both its shipping port and airport as vital transport links with other New Zealand centers.
Napier is world famous for its Art Deco architecture, which is a major avenue for the city's tourist industry.
