This page contains information about our 2024 district
convention which was held 20-21 September, 2024, in Parnell, Auckland,
New Zealand. The convention was hosted by the Kiwanis club of
Drury.

About the Venue and Accommodation :

The official convention hotel was the
Parnell Hotel and Convention Centre,
10/20 Gladstone Road, Parnell, Auckland 1052. Phone:
+64 9 303 3789. All business sessions
and the Friday and Saturday evening functions were held at this venue.
"Located in the inner-city suburb of beautiful Parnell, the hotel is well
situated to Spark Arena, city centre and the shopping districts of Newmarket
and Parnell. Free parking is available on site so guests can enjoy the
relaxing walks and cycleways within central Auckland, nearby public transport
also connects to wider Auckland. Proudly New Zealand Owned and Operated."

The full registration fee for all Kiwanis members and guests was
NZ $ 320. An early bird rate of NZ $ $295 was
available for registrations received on or before 20 July.
Partial registrations were available for non-Kiwanian partners or guests
who wished to attend only :
- Friday night social (includes meal). Cost
is $75.00 per person.
- Saturday night formal dinner (includes
meal). Cost is $75.00 per person.
- Farewell Brunch (Sunday morning). Cost is
$20.00 per person.

chairwoman.

The convention committee did an excellent job of
organizing the convention and provided an entertaining and fun experience.
