Kiwanis History

Mike joined Kiwanis in 1977, was club president 1983/1984 and 1994/1995, was
club secretary for seven years, was the lt. governor of Division 9 twice,
once distinguished, district trainer 1991 to 2003 and lead trainer 2012 to 2017,
district governor 1998-1999, district secretary for four years and managed the
district supplies from 2006 to the present.

Family and Professional background

Was married to Margaret for 32 years with three adult children and four
grandchildren. Currently married to Bev who has three adult children and
seven grandchildren. Worked for 43 years in education reaching the positions
of Senior teacher, Deputy Principal and Principal. Now retired but active
with the Red Cross disaster welfare team.
