The Kiwanis Club of Te Awamutu is a community service club open to men and women of
good character. Our 15 members are of varying ages and occupations.
Our aim is to make our community a better place in which to live. We tend to be
doers rather than donors. Our primary emphasis is on projects and
activities which benefit families and young children in the Te Awamutu area.

Our club is proud of:
|
The early fulfillment of our five-year financial pledge to the Kiwanis
IDD Project (Iodine Deficiency Disorder - a world service
project of Kiwanis International to fight this crippling disease of
children) |
Our national award from the Keep New Zealand Beautiful Society in
recognition of our work on the Yarndley's Bush
and Ngaroto Lake Walkway projects. |
